Healthy People Wood County Teams are always looking for volunteers and/or community partners to help tackle this work. Below are opportunities for you to get invovled!
Wisconsin Rapids Downtown Farmers Market
The market runs June through October on Thursdays and Saturdays 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Located along the Wisconsin River at 220 1st Avenue South, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495.
Volunteers can work the full day or half-day shifts 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM or 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM! Duties include visitor surveying, handing out give-a-ways, visitor counts, helping transport goods from the market area to vehicles, set-up and take-down. Market management is always on staff to train volunteers and assist.
